Kia ora North NZ whānau. I currently serve as the chaplain for the Christchurch Adventist School. This year marks 30 years of working in youth ministry for the Adventist church, mostly in the Youth departments of the North and South Conferences or as a school chaplain. Working with young people continues to keep me young on the inside, even as the outside gets a lot more weathered. I look forward to spending some time with my North Island church family again at the Over-50s Camp. I know God has planned a very special time of equipping and encouragement as we come together for worship and fellowship. As unconventional as it is to have a youth pastor speak for an Over-50s camp, I believe God has something for all of us to feel young at heart again as we look at what it means to be truly Anchored in Him.
